FACULTY TOP 250 SC is a FRAC group code 11 and group 3 fungicide.
FACULTY TOP 250 SC is a unique formulation of two active ingredients, picoxystrobin (strobilurin) and prothioconazole (triazole).
Picoxystrobin is the superior strobilurin fungicide in terms of broad-spectrum disease control with unique redistribution properties, vapor activity towards the leaf base as well as acropetal to the leaf tips.
Prothioconazole is a new generation Ergosterol Biosynthesis Inhibitor with outstanding translaminar action and excellent residual activity.
Ideal mix for anti-resistance management.

Do's & Don'ts

Blackleg :
Apply the first application not later than the 4 to 6 leaf stage (BBCH 14 – 16).
Apply a second application at green bud stage (BBCH 51).
The first product application must be applied STRICTLY PREVENTATIVELY before any symptoms are noticed.
Do not apply more than two (2) applications of FACULTY TOP 250 SC per season.
sclerotinia
Apply one preventive application at 20 % to 30 % flowering (BBCH 62 to 63) of the crop.
Do not apply more than two (2) applications of FACULTY TOP 250 SC per season.

Usage Rate

Blackleg & sclerotinia:
Apply 700mℓ / ha + 0.05% DIRECT (ground application) or 0.1% DIRECT (aerial application).

Do's & Don'ts

Apply the first application between the 5 and 7 leaf stage.
Apply a second application 3 to 4 weeks later if disease pressure is evident (normally at flag leaf stage before appearance of the head).
The first product application must be applied strictly
preventative before any symptoms are noticed.
Do not apply more than two FACULTY TOP 250 SC tank mixture treatments per season.

Ground application

700 mℓ/ha plus 50 mℓ/100l water LINK; Apply in 200-300 ℓ water per hectare.

Aerial application

700 mℓ/ha plus 100 ml/100 ℓ water LINK; Apply in 30-40 ℓ water per hectare.

Two active ingredients with different modes of action.
FACULTY TOP 250 SC provides protective and curative protection to treated plants.
FACULTY TOP 350 SC is a suspension concentrate, systemic action fungicide for the preventative control of grey leaf spot(Cercospora zeae-maydis), northern leaf blight (Exserohilum turcicum / Setosphearia turcica) and rust (Puccinia sorghi) in maize.
Prothioconazole is a sterol demethylation inhibitor that affects ergosterol biosynthesis in fungi.
It moves systemically in treated plants.
Picoxystrobin is a strobilurin fungicide which functions by inhibiting mitochondrial respiration.
Picoxystrobin has translaminar, acropetal movement in treated plants.

Do's & Don'ts

FACULTY TOP 250 SC is recommended in an integrated disease management programme.
Apply the first application of FACULTY TOP 250 SC preventively, at the 4 to 6 leaf stage before any disease symptoms are noticed.
A second application is recommended 3-weeks later.
A minimum of 250 l of spray mixture must be applied per hectare (ground application).
Do not mix with seaweed extracts.
Add a Villa approved surfactant when using FACULTY TOP 250 SC.

Usage Rate

Ground application:

700 mℓ /ha + DIRECT 50 mℓ /100 ℓ water.
Apply as a full cover spray in 250 to 500 ℓ /ha.

Aerial application:

700 mℓ /ha + DIRECT 100 mℓ /100 ℓ water. Apply in 30 to 40 ℓ water/ha.
