Features

CHOIR 500 WDG is an anilinopyrimidine group fungicide and belongs to FRAC group 9.
Systemic compound that is rapidly taken up into the cuticle and waxy layers of leaves and fruit and then locally distributed.
Protective and curative properties.
Efficacy is enhanced in preventative programmes against scab and powdery mildew.
Unique mode of action causing the inhibition of infection in plant cells and mycelial growth in tissues.
Excellent tool in IPM-programmes.

Do's & Don'ts

Preventative control:
- Apply first treatment at green tip and continue at weekly intervals until completion of flowering.
- Do not apply after flowering, instead continue with a preventative programme, applying contact fungicides.
- Apply a DMI-fungicide following periods favouring infection, while the contact fungicide programme is being applied.
Curative control:
- Apply not later than three days after beginning of an infection period. A tank mixture of D-ZOLE 250 EC plus MANCOZEB can be applied to obtain curative control of scab.
- Effective curative control depends on the implementation of adequate and accurate
disease prediction systems.
